Charles Edward Lewis, III is a dynamic and dedicated leader with an impressive background in healthcare and community service. His journey towards making a significant impact began early, as he started working as an orderly while attending EMT school in 10th grade. Eager to contribute to the well-being of others, Charles later pursued a career as a Paramedic, where he gained invaluable experience working in shock trauma at the prestigious Elvis Presley Memorial Level 1 Trauma Center.

Throughout high school, Charles' passion for healthcare and community engagement led him to become an active member of HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America), where he served as President. His drive to serve others was further influenced by his family's legacy. As the second oldest grandson of the Honorable Baxter Richard Leach, a renowned civil rights leader, Emmy winner, and a Hall of Fame inductee by President Obama, Charles was instilled with a deep sense of duty to give back and uplift his community.

Charles’ grandfather played a pivotal role in organizing and leading the 1968 Sanitation Strike in Memphis, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was tragically assassinated. From a young age, Charles was inspired by his grandfather's dedication to social justice and community empowerment, which fueled his own commitment to serving others. Over the years, Charles has worn various hats in different industries, showcasing his versatility and leadership skills.

He has held positions such as a Hotel Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager for Marriott and Hilton Hotels, demonstrating his ability to excel in diverse fields. Moreover, Charles’ entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful real estate brokerage in Atlanta, GA, contributing to the growth and development of the local community.

As a proud father and grandfather, Charles understands the significance of fostering a strong, supportive community for future generations. He remains actively engaged in his faith community, serving as a member of Vision Cathedral in Atlanta, GA, and Jericho City Church of Champions in Houston, Texas. Charles’ dedication to nurturing the potential of young individuals is reflected in his past role as a Youth Leader at his home church, where he planned youth events and awarded City of Memphis Community Services Awards to the youth.
